Most kilts will be completed and ready for dispatch within six weeks. However some tartans which are available to select are woven on a per order basis and kilts made from these may take an extra 2-6 weeks to be completed depending on the complexity of the weave. You can tell which of the tartans are affected as they are marked "Special Weave" when selecting the weight of fabric.

The kilt pin is a piece of jewellery that is usually worn on the lower corner of the outer apron of a kilt. Its function is to prevent the apron falling or blowing open, by securing the outer apron.( Dont secure it to the inner apron, Its there to add weight. If secured to the inner apron you will damage you kilt. )

The Argyle Jacket is normally worn at day events where the Prince Charlie would be considered over dressed. The other differences are that a belt and tie can be used instead of the bow tie. It can, however, be worn at any function with appropriate dress sporran and black bow tie and still be suitable.
